ポストクラシカル、アンビエント界で高い評価を受け、日本でも厚い支持を集めるEluvium。彼の本名名義による、儚くも美しい至極の短編集が奇跡の初CD化。憂いを帯びた素朴なピアノソロから、荘厳なサウンドスケープまで一枚にパッケージされた、 Goldmund、GonzalesファンからJóhannJóhannsson、Sigur Rósファンまで幅広く推薦したい名盤。

本作は2008年にLPでリリースされた本名名義の1stアルバムに、本人へのインタビューを含むライナーノーツを加えCD化した独自企画盤。Eluvium名義での作曲のなかで偶然生まれたという今作は、彼の最もパーソナルな部分に触れられるような、素朴で慎ましいピアノソロやアンビエンスが現れては消えていく、ミニマルで果てしない至極の短編集。近年更なる盛り上がりをみせるポストクラシカルシーンの真打ちとなる新たな金字塔的名盤が誕生。
